Journalism. Storytelling. Diversity.

Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do.
Whether through words, video, or art, I’m driven to shine a light on voices and issues that deserve to be heard.
For me, journalism is more than reporting facts - it’s about weaving together stories that reveal truth, amplify voices, and spark connection.

My career began in 2020, when I published my first piece in Kindling & Sage magazine, exploring the linguistic challenges migrants face when seeking acceptance.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I documented how so-called Australia’s 722-day border closure affected the expat community in Melbourne.
This project, Stories from the Country of Longing, combined writing and photography and received a Highly Commended Award in the Documentary and Portrait category of Capture Magazine’s Australia’s Top Emerging Photographer Competition in 2022.

Eager to broaden my skills, I returned to university to study International Studies at RMIT, then travelled to Europe to train in videography. While there, I completed an internship at France 24, where I mainly focused on video reports.
Back in so-called Australia, I joined Shepparton News, reporting on everything from government accountability to the stories of artists and CALD communities.

Today, I bring together my skills in writing, video journalism, and visual art to share stories across different mediums.

As an independent journalist, I focus on issues that shape our society while also celebrating creativity and culture through interviews and artistic projects.

I’m always open to freelance opportunities and collaborations with people who believe in the power of storytelling. Let's connect.

I acknowledge the Yorta Yorta people, upon which land I live, create and work.

I respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging.

Sovereignty was never ceded; it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
